You can value a company based on what assets they have in the ground, that's the entire point of a company valuation....lol...

FYI - The notes or debt you refer to have been included in the calculation.
See borrowings in the Annual financial statements (see note 5) which form part of the net assets.

I wouldn't start to compare the two companies or the quality and size of the resources as they are so very different (chalk and cheese). Common thread to date which has generated much discussion is only the corporate involvement.

MC vs Assets is a one method looked at when making any decision to invest in a company. MC less than Net Asset gets a tick.
