Sydney - Wednesday - April 2: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Ansearch (ASX:ANH) reports director Dean Jones has notified the company
that he has received general information from the receivers of Opes
Prime in relation to shares that he or entities associated with him hold
in Ansearch.
The company is aware of a letter to clients of Opes Prime that
is available at the opesprime website.
An amount of uncertainty remains.
However, it appears that the 35.2m shares (6.3pc of capital)
previously controlled by Mr Jones are now beneficially owned and
controlled by the financiers of Opes Prime.
The company has not received any information from the financiers
of Opes Prime as to their intention to deal in the ANH shares, other
than what has been reported in recent media coverage.
This matter does not directly affect the operations of Ansearch.
Ansearch requests that the ASX lift the trading halt on
securities in ANH.
