Bossdog, are you Qantas management?

Nice link Mike. Yet it appears to be more Qantas PR spin.

Well, I wanted to see for myself how much these 'spanner twisters' earn for myself. I have been told to check out the facts because the employees believe that the PR spin machine is in overdrive and the distortions are getting bigger and bigger. So from the FWA website,

"Supervising Licensed Engineer Grade 1
$47,576 per annum

Supervising Licensed Engineer Grade 2
$51,714 per annum

Station Engineer
$49,128 per annum"

So this is the top of the line engineer(or at least the highest base wage I could find). I see they get loadings for working in toxic environments, like working in a fuel tank or acid tank(would love to see you turning a spanner in an acid tank bossdog). They get further loadings for what type of aircraft they are qualified on and what systems they are qualified on. With all those loadings, I can't see the average engineer earning more than $100k.

I don't know, this seems very different to the $170k that Qantas spins.
