I feel for the staff at Qantas, many of them feel "if only we could speak up for ourselves"

How about this for yet another penny pinching episode to add to the list.

If ever you intend to use QFF points to fly several sectors in business class and cannot get a seat on all sectors in that class, Qantas very kindly allow you to fly Economy or Premium Economy but guess what? they rip the full quota of points off you at the business class rate.

Now just think about it, if you wanted an upgrade, they would hit you again.
It is a one way street - no different to how the banks operate.
Fees, levies, subsidies, fuel surcharges, seat allocation booking fees (next) to come) a la British Airways....maybe the powers to be at Qantas have overlooked this little money making facility.
