Thanks mike, that is a lot different to the one I found.
Doing some rough calculations, if you calculate using a level 15 who is a DMM and gets all the allowances below those 2 tables(which I don't know if they are entitled to them all), I still only get about 160k per year.
Now that is using the top brackets with every possible allowance. Still a far cry from the 'average' 170k that Qantas claims they earn. I would think there would only be a handful on those wages?
If you think my calculations are wrong, I would be more than happy to hear your calculations. I am just in for providing balanced arguements, since Qantas say and journalists do.
By the way, I think the Engineering union stuffed up by telling people to fly elsewhere. Not smart IMO. Lost my support by doing that.
