Who's fault do you think that is, the employees? Or the board/management?
Why do you think there is an employee revolt in Qantas? Is it really about pay and conditions? The two big unions are asking for 2.5%-3% pay rises, so its not about the money.
I think this is more about the employees having no confidence in the management. If the shareholders finally wake up to this, I believe this would be all over in a jiffy.
Remember, Alan Joyce wants you to think that Qantas could go the way of Ansett. But history shows that Qantas is full of the same management, including Joyce, who ran Ansett into the ground. The sooner the rest of the shareholders realise this, the better Qantas will be and be able to return to its former glory and offer/better a Singapore service.
