the way these events are unfolding has more than a whiff of how ansett was slowly run into the ground
yes, management has a case to answer...giving joyce a huge bonus then playing hardball with the unions was stupid
but the real problem, one shared with all legacy airlines, is a tired culture...the planes are old, so are cabin crew, food in cattle class isn't worth eating...it's no secret why younger(in every sense)airlines are are taking business away from legacy airlines
qantas needs to partner up and quick
