My intension from the beginning was to get clarification from BTA on the basis of the belief in the market is that GSK might have undertake in such transactions.

If GSK has or have not undertaken in such transactions is an issue for others to pursue if the circumstances arise.

Their reply to my questions as stated

"However, as a result of a specific enquiry by us, GSK have indicated that they have not entered into any such contracts or arrangements".

Based on the above the mater now rests and I must trust their responce.
