I'm trying to get my head around the African Energy listing. EVE state that AE is now fully funded for 2007, which has come at the cost to EVE of diluting it's share of AE.
So why the ASX listing? Surely not to raise more funds. I hope it's not so the recent placement blow-ins can cash in their seed shareholding. What other reason could there be? I'm obviously missing something.
So what's in it for EVE holders like myself? Priority in the listing? In-specie?
Aside from African Energy, I'm looking forward to an announcement regarding how they will invest the funds raised via lst year's placement. (at 13.5c if you don't mind!) I'm sure this will give the sp a good leg-up.
I'm holding so not bagging the stock. It's just that they sure seem to look after their mates. Good mates to have maybe.
