Why?
Because their religion is false; it does not really bring them any peace. So they must continue to convince themselves their superstitious fantasies are something real.
Take Maxmin. He says he is "at peace" but he must come to this forum and fill it with junk from his own psychogical insecurities, doubts and fears.
I do not mind responding to these thread, to try to slap some sense into these folks. But I am not crazy enough to start one of these threads, needing to desparately proselytize my fragile belief system.
