I think you assume a lot in your non-expert view.

there are many ways that you can be the father of a child and not have a legal related interest in the shareholding of that child as the trustee.

there's a corporate veil which cannot be piereced and we all must assume that if his shareholdings had been disclosed to the company secretary and the board then they have acted according to the appropriate laws.

remember, ECT have Norton Rose as their legal counsel, I dont think they get too much wrong, particularly with rudimentray compliance like we are talking about.
