benny...the housing price growth on average is way in excess of your figure of 6%....the rba graphs, for 1996 to 2008 show starting prices at 100,000 going to 300,000 excluding brisbane and perth at 400,000
that is 20% pa compound growth...almost 3 times your figure
see the difference between facts, compared to what one might think...or believe....
