Someone needs to remind him that the value of the debt decreases by the level of inflation as well - 500k in 10 years time will seem like peanuts thanks to the US rescue package and no amount of monetory and fiscal tightening is going to stop that! They won't be able to raise rates for years and in the meantime they will jig the inflation figures by reshaping the measuring basket. You guys are just too gullible.
