I dont uderstand the turtle thingy as the AL people eat them their not pretty to them as they put them on the coals and eat them The sea around there may never become a GB reef as its full of nasty thingies that sting. Plus it could never compete with the GB Reef The coral argument is well a bit suss as the crown of thorn starfish is eating most of the coral anyway I dont think the locals are worried about their snorkelling as they dont do it. I dont think theres surf there either.
So whats left. Whats left to attract tourists or make a business that can survive without a government handout. ZIP.
Put the mine in, get the people working, build the schools, get businesses going and get BORED kids off the drugs, petrol sniffing and booze.
