Can you give me an example where a company has done all the negotiations before pegging sites and applying for exploration licences. GEMCO maybe?
To negotiate first would be folly as another company would come over the top and peg the sites and then those negotiations would amount to nought. As a shareholder I wouldn't like my company wasting time and money like that.
GOT have shown that they are trying to do the right thing by the TO's by negotiating with them. Their exploration permits give them the right to start exploration without any consideration to the locals, however they have taken the attitude that the TO's should be involved.
There is a lot of noise on both sides of the argument at the moment and we all should stick to the facts that we have.
