The real climate scientists work for the world's major militaries and in particular the major navies. Since WW1 they have been gathering ocean temperature profiles. Later satellites, were added measuring the entire air column and surface temperatures to a high degree of accuracy. The vast majority of that data is classified. Weather and climate prediction have major tactical and strategic consequences, hence it has long been militarized. Global warming is very real and very dangerous. It is mostly caused by people. Ocean pollution and deforestation are the major causes, excessive wasteful burning of fossil fuels also contributes.
The solution is reforestation, environmental remediation, and reductions in fossil fuel use.
