Hi boojee,
As far as I know there are two different types of doing the diagnostics

With one they can /could/do use M+G to coat the beads and to coat the plate
EG=Phillips Minicare
This gives results in minutes=Lab on a chip.

With the other way the plate is put in a machine and the result is read with a laser and spectral analysis.


This second way could be greatly improved by using M+G to bind the protean to the plate
