Big leap to EV batteries - super HQ required that field will be Low turnover = low return & lots of R&D. This is the relem of lithium-vanadium-phosphate which offers 5-6v per cell IMHO.
Market to target 1st is the where the churn is - good old mundane 1.5v AA AAA & Buttons. Particularly Lithium-titanate for high-power short duration powerpack applications.
Powerpack "cells" mostly just a series of 1.5v batteries chained. Sure 1 dud and the cell is compromised - but it is cheaper to build a cell this way as it avoids separator wafer complexities.
Catskinning101 - Going after the EV cell market - why not go backdoor - Home solar feed powerwalls to recharge EV o'night & more. You'll sell more of these than EV cells that's for sure.
