Looking at the slide below from Rachel's Gold Coast presentation I hadn't paid much attention to slide 10 as yet

I am yet to look into this area in any depth - A quick first look found the article below which indicates some problem areas "restinosis" a build up of scar tissue around the stent causing re blockage of the arteries

Anyway just another area to start researching - Drug Eluting Stents / Vascular Stents
