what many of the long-termers will be finding hard to believe at this point in time is 'is this really happening?'

I got goosebumps from the Trinseo announcement. Some powerful words in there from Trinseo and David:

"AnteoTech's innovative AnteoX technology enables us to expand our VOLTABond range to yet untapped performance properties" - Trinseo

yet untapped? sounds like a very substantial improvement from just dropping in AnteoX an improvement their customers badly want.
