It's important to remember that we have relatively very little data about the DurAVR. We do have at least 7 studies on CardioCel, with most being positive but there are some mixed results among all of that when it comes to calcification analyses after explantation.

Medical science is never going to be 100% and often not close to that. I have questions about the data provided so far, not necessarily negative but about things that are unclear, and have discussed it with the company but understandingly they have told me that I'll have to be patient to learn anything that hasn't been made public already. That said, I haven't sold a share even though I'm up 2.5x since last November and I don't plan on selling any in the foreseeable future (buyout excepted).

This is a clinical stage company so there is still a good bit of risk involved. It may not be quite as high as a drug undergoing multiple rounds of trials that it can pass or fail but FDA Premarket Approval for medical devices is no joke. There is a high bar the DurAVR will eventually have to clear because heart valve replacement is a life supporting intervention so we'll need to have very robust and significant data without any adverse safety events to eventually get approval.
