the labor guys want to use tax payers to fund lossing businesses like holden, ford, qantas etc to keep the unions happy and paid. they dont want to loose their membership cash flow. if they want a tax payer hand out, increase productivity by 20% or do something for it. no hand outs at all is the best way forward. the govt should let qantas go into the real world and raise capital. its stupid to tie it to an outdated ownership clause.
I see the unions have actually taken to kidnapping bosses of Goodyear in France. Gotta love those tactics. jail should sort them out- its a crime isnt it? the labor party will say and do anything, it has zero cred now. its sad that they sold out on everything and left the place in a mess, they need leadership and to rid themselves of the cancer within. might be hard to do, since everything indicates that they would all rather die than change. good for the country over the longer term.
