Why an Anthropomorphic God?
I suppose that it is easier for humans to create God in his own image than it is to create one with different attributes. And so we have a (human created?) God who is creative, gets hacked off with his creation, thinks twice and then needs to make amends for his fits of temper, has moments when he thinks he should love and care for his creation....and so on.
And yet remains essentially invisible and undetectable expect through writings that are far from clear, are self contradictory and penned by largely unknown authors thousands of years ago. The writings that had to be filtered for inclusion in a book considered to be sacred by an organisation that is now labeled as 666 by many to represent evil in the Book of Revelation.
God does indeed move in mysterious ways.

Not sure why the"?" after created but the rest is a view that all, especially persons of faith should consider.
You pose simple, obvious and reasonable questions.
For "Christians" .. put the Bible in the children's room and look at life as it is.
