Just wondering how 'expensive' $1500 really is. I just bought iPPS for my dog. Cost for the drug was $42.57 per shot. He got 4 shots, but if it was 12 that would be $510. He weighs 11kg and the cost is weight dependent. I don't have the numbers to know what it would cost for heavier weight as the concentration and vial size changes. Suffice to say it would cost a lot more for an animal that weighed 6 or 8 times more. So question if $1500 such a high price compared to what we pay for veterinary drug now?
