I don't know the indiviudal agreements with each merchant. Most will have merchant fees and some don't - utilities may not as it's more a convenience thing to increase their customer base.
Sub fees - This is for Sezzle, was just a geneal list of fees that BNPL are charging. Doesn't apply to you.
Late fee - No different to credit cards spend 5k and pay 5k back within the agreed interest free period and you wont get a fee. You obviously paying your debts on time, unfortunately most people dont. They still got you for $2.95 though where CC doesnt.
