I have no proof to back this up, but I reckon crashes will increase in the future.
On the road atm there are still aged drivers that do not know how to text. Everyday this group gets smaller and the kids who can't be without their phones for 10 minutes gets larger. From what I've heard, texting is as dangerous to a driver as is drink driving. Not sure how many first cars for teens will have any kind of anti crash tech in them in the near future.
