"Hounding" them is completely counter-productive. It achieves absolutely nothing except frustration.

I tried engaging them on the Lynas Malaysia Facebook page a few weeks ago - it was like talking to a brick wall. All the replies were the same robotic brain-washed "Lynas Go Home" nonsense. Not to mention all the "Lynas want to kill all Malaysians" and "Huge radioactive waste dumping" etc etc.

I tried to keep unruffled (which I managed to do) and answer the torrent of abuse with facts and what I thought was a bit of reason and logic.

Hah..! What a total waste of time. I finally gave up - I'm not going to spend time arguing with a brick wall.

My suggestion - leave them alone on their precious Facebook pages - posting on there only encourages them as they know somebody is reading and listening to them. If there were nobody on there apart from themselves, then they can chant to each other till the cows come home - it won't worry me in the slightest.
