GETTING RAILROADED
What is the meaning of "getting railroaded?"?
A friend isn't popular. I heard someone say this about him. What does it mean?

When you get railroaded, it means you get pushed into a situation, not of your choosing. I think it may be because a railroad has only one possible route. you go on the rails or you go in the ditch. In any case, if you get railroaded, people force you into a negative situation.
