The ruling party has controlled Malaysia since 1957 when Tunku Abdul Rahman was PM after independence from the British. (Owner of think big Melbourne cup winner 1975 and 1976.) While Malaysia remains a democracy. The ruling party controls the press and it's often said the juducuiary! I would not lose one minutes sleep over the Kuantan challenge! Lynas will be able to operate in Malaysia the government does not back down once decisions are made!
