Haha! yes we should be working to our strengths .... and we should have been doing this at least 10 years ago. It'll take many years now just to get a single nuclear power station started. The site selection studies and environmental impact studies alone will take years. The decision to go nuclear would cost Rudd his government. VERY unpopular decision it would be. Where does Mr Abbot want his first nuclear power plant to be built? Wollongong? Newcastle? YEP! He won't say, he wants to win government.
