in my view Netanyahu is that. He is pursuing his own Zionist agenda that is based on a belief that only he has the answer. He is a hate filled angry man who needs to feel power to feel worthy. He will indeed go down in history- but what cost in being listened to and dominating others

I understood the Zionist agenda - who cannot. But I have equal compassion for those whose land is stolen, where one party thinks that they are entitled no matter what - because they are special? Because they think they are smarter? Because they want a home? Because self interest outweighs communal interest and shapes the way common interest is viewed? Because they cannot contemplate an alternative to controlling that which another has?

Breaking one party leads to unpredictable consequences. Justice is not found only in the short term during the struggle because justice is defined by each party. People use what power they can muster. They fight when they’ve had enough

true though too that Net seems to want to knock the teeth out of all Muslims. and he's blind to the harm he is doing to Israel.

one excellent thing to come from the Old Testament.... vengeance is mine says the Lord. to me it means we should never take revenge as it only ever creates the need for stronger revenge. let the gods take vengeance and we should live in peace.
