    It is my understanding that radioactive components of the ore body (uranium, thorium etc) will largely be contained in the mineral concentrate that will initially be shipped to China for processing. If there is a dam to be built for containment of mine tailings, then the radioactive content of the tailings will be far less than that of the initial naturally occuring ore body. Radioactive components are valuable and will not be sent to a tailings dam.
