Those 1,500+ cases were active when not many people were vaccinated, plus it takes 2 full weeks for the vaccines to become effective. In Germany there wasn't a huge uptake of vaccine and people were not getting their boosters, Germany had started vaccinations before Australia but slow uptake, people not getting boosters and removing all restrictions has increased cases again. Agreed the vaccination doesn't seem to last the full 12 months as estimated, that's why boosters are recommended. But even drs/scientists don't fully know yet how long a vaccination is effective for. We are the guinea pigs in a sense because we haven't seen this type of covid strain before. But scientists needed to creative something to prevent the spread. Singapore relaxed all restrictions and at only 85% fully vaxxed.

prevent the spread. that would assume they invented a vaccine that could kill the virus before it got in to your blood. they did not. so what are you taking.
