Hi Lav. Even though you have a dot point before the 44 vaccinated figure, the dunderhead anti vaxxers may still think its 44% rather than less than half a percent.. Putting a zero before the dot might make it clearer for them . I repost hereunder including the zero. As you pointed out if vaccinated were going into hospital at the same percentage rate as the vaccinated that would need nearly 8500 hospitaliasions.
The fact its only 1398 clearly indicates that the vaccinated are doing far better per capita than the unvaccinated. Another factor is that many of those that are vaccinated are more likely to be in hospital because of other serious illness whereas the unvaccinated tend to be there for covid specific reasons. Both CMOs and PM Morrison have stated that this is the case.
