re: mac osx needed!! I use my Mac for everything but trading on Commsec and my books on Quicken. The Mac is not vulnerable and Commsec is clean so I have two clean puters.
And of course two screens. I can talk sh!t on HC while my watch lists are beside it.
Any serious traders out there should consider it. You can't afford your trading platform to go down. If my pc failed I could still keep an eye on things via Commsec's web based platform.
