Looking at today's trading pattern for LYC, one can't help wondering about herd instinct and crowd psychology.
Is this just anticipation that an announcement is imminent from Lynas or the Malaysian Govt? Is it inside knowledge, with the rest of the herd just following?
Is it the old "buy the rumour, sell the news" at work?
Still on a relatively moderate volume compared to some days, but a definite pick-up today compared to yesterday. We're now up to 16 million or so, with two and a half hours still to go. Yesterday's total for the day was just over 18 million.
Anticipatory moves afoot??
