    BTW best to bring your own snorkeling gear with you, and its fairly cheap to do a dive course in Amed (abt $350 Us), and either bring Aussie dollars or get your rupiahs in Malaysia (as you are well aware of). Lots of money changers in Amed, but the ATMs charge you AUD $20 per transaction (as I later found out)
