Certainly not all literature, it is import for humanity to know whether tis nobler to be, or not to be! One day all the movies too...should be preciously archived!
BUT we do need to rehouse all those fantastical fantasies in the Wendy House, Disney Land, and the confines of the Vatican, or the Vaults of the Pagan Churches, where they belong.
We must not allow ourselves another 1000 dark years in an age of religious belief and self serving god(less?) values!
It took about 3000 years to parse, and unentwine the inveigled mythos, drama & logos, and the tyranny of nomos that was written so resolutely into the brilliant record of the Jew's Septuagint or Tanakh; a convolution in a text that still beguiles and fools smart men and women today!
And it took about another 1000 years to win the epistemic divisor between the discourse of the state & church, and the church and the slaughter of the scientific thought of the likes of Galileo & Darwin.
But yes - economists need to realise that their basic tenet, supply & demand, is structured on illogical ordinals rather than scientific nominals. This is a radical review of scientific empiricism and radical rationalism that is long overdue, for the arts & humanities, fail to tell us what IS, but rather what they would like US TO DO! And though they try conceal their "emergent "fact"icity" behind scientism - it is essentially all normative b/s.
The Arts & the Humanities are the beggars, mimes, jugglers and sophists on the steps of the temple of academia, and the shamans in turquoise jewels, jaguar hides, and that parade quadrants & halls in their tall vivid yet pretentious plumage pawning their products of penny trinket, voodooed talisman, twaddle, poppycock, and hogwash.
They make lions shit on stools, and elephants prance in circles, to discordant bavarian brass melodies.
