Russian President Vladimir Putin has directed the government to explore the possibility of restricting the export of certain critical raw materials to foreign markets during a meeting held on Wednesday.
According to Putin, there have been limitations imposed on the supply of various goods to Russia. In response, he suggested that it might be appropriate for Russia to consider imposing its own restrictions. Specifically, Putin mentioned "uranium, titanium, and nickel" as potential candidates for such limitations.
"We just don't need to do anything to our own detriment," he added. "We need to think about certain restrictions on supplies to the foreign market."
