I became a holder of SXG today. I have been thinking of investing in gold for a while, but not really able to find the right stock and also put off by the fact that the gold price today is almost the same as it was in 2012. At the weekend I read a news item which said that the US might not be able to supply Ukraine with the ammunition they need because they were running out of bullets. The reason - a shortage of Antimony. After a bit of research (see https://**promotion blocked**/resources/antimony-one-of-the-most-important-critical-minerals-youve-never-heard-of/) it seems that the usual suspects, Russia and China, control most of the world supply. There also seems to be only one mine in Oz producing Antimony, Mandalay Resources which is listed on the TSX and therefore difficult to invest in. It seems to me that this makes SXG a very good opportunity, a good gold prospect and a rare producer of a potentially much in demand metal.
