The senior geos at Rio, Newcrest and IGO would have looked at and provided valuable info to their respective employers. Clearly their input was positive else these major companies would not have agreed to commit to spend a combined $150m on exploration. They would have considered their investments very carefully.... they would not want to be seen by the sector and their respective shareholders to have made bad decisions.
