I've been in the unlisted Antipodes Global fund for about 5 years, it has underperformed the index but I wouldn't call performance woeful. as of March 31st 1 yr 17.8% 3 yr 6.5 % p.a 5 yr 10.9% p.a the ASX listed version hasn't been around as long but the share price has risen 14.4% over past 12 months as of April 9th ( according to Bell Potter LIC weekly report ), and 17% rise in pre-tax NTA. don't forget it's a global long / short fund so it's not surprising that it's underperformed the index during rising markets.
