Looks like another LIC coming to market soon. Details are thin, but this is another LIC of an existing managed fund strategy. Antipodes is the business formed by a team of individuals who last year broke away from Platinum (who run ASXMC) to start their own firm. Like PMC, this new LIC will be global Long Short if it follows the Antipodes flagship managed fund - the Antipodes Global Fund.
While Antipodes have only been going about a year or so, the team are held in high regard. Given that PMC has been trading at a premium for a while, this could be a cheaper way to access the same DNA that was a driver at Platinum. More information to follow!
