Whatever else may or may not be true, Hamas is a terrorist organization that has a mission statement to wipe out Israel. Hamas planned and carried out their attack targeting unarmed civilians, men, women and children, which triggered a response by Israel and everything that has transpired since. Nobody is clean but the escalation in the conflict was instigated by Hamas.
