Your post has prompted me to rethink a little more on - re my post and Maybe the following will shoot it down in flames LOL.
It would depend on how one sees it, you may have thoughts?

Eph 2:8 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

The word through here also has the meanings - on account of, by reason of, because of, for the sake of.

1. Is the gift both grace and faith?
2. Is the faith just the fact that God has given one the ability to draw upon faith = your choice?
3. Or is it, God choses (draws) particular people and gives them faith that will draw them to him (kicking or screaming lol), which would enter that predestination subject, that we recently touched on, which would also open the subject up of, free will or not?
(God's will, will be done)

You would want to be in his Will then eh LOL.
