Wake up Noddy, the books of 'OT' are the work of the Hebrews/Israelites/Jews, the evolution of a people and their beliefs, where Jesus is reported to have said that he had come to uphold the law of the prophets, where the early Christians took Jesus to be the Messiah that is prophesied in the old testament...so without that lineage that role is not possible.

It was not necessary to state that Jesus was a Jew because that is a necessity.

The biblical testimony is plain. The book of Hebrews tells us that "it is evident that our Lord arose from [the tribe of] Judah . . ." (7:14)


Christ is descended from the Israelite tribal patriarch Judah and his descendant King David (Luke 3:31, Luke 3:33; compare Acts 2:30; 2 Timothy 2:8).
