You accept that they will be killed, but, otherwise, you don't "disregard them" which will no doubt be a massive consolation. Now that's handwaving and digging a hole if ever I saw it.
Every time I have mentioned the plight of these people you have changed the subject. If this was Jews sitting waiting to have their fate decided by another ethnic group, the world screeching would be off the charts. There'd be US marines in Gaza and 24/7 ADL announcements. There would be no qualifying the situation.
No one can explain that distinction in reaction beyond the quite obvious explanation. These people are not Jews hence they don't matter to a noisy biased group.
The commandment says "Thou shalt not kill". There's no small print, there's no qualification for Palestinians. Until you see that, your support makes you complicit.
