Just saw that Antisense Pharma (a German bio) who are presenting at the German Science Day to business and daily press, plus investors
The German Science Day is to present the major research and development contribution of German biotechnology companies working on cancer. The all-day event takes place on February 2nd 2012 at the Charité, Berlin.


"Our lead product, currently in development belongs to the ‘targeted therapies’, i.e. it blocks the synthesis of key proteins, which are responsible for the onset and progression of especially aggressive tumor diseases. This drug does not alter the genome. With this novel approach, we treat the cause of the disease and not merely its symptoms.

Trabedersen, is our most advanced drug in terms of clinical development. We are currently in preparation of a randomized and active controlled Phase II study of 2nd line monotherapy of metastatic pancreatic cancer patients.

We are also planning to evaluate trabedersen in combination with standard therapy as 1st line therapy in GBM and metastatic pancreatic cancer patients.
