@kingpins; all of our governments have made mistakes in responding to the Covd19 Pandemic and some of them have openly admitted to having done so and undertaken to address them. Overall though, they've collectively done well!

The global death toll from Covid19 is now beyond 5 million people with the USA passing 750,000 despite having the best vaccines and the fastest rollout once Biden became President! They have NOT managed to join the dots with freedumb reigning supreme in many states.

China's response was predictably heavy-handed but its death toll of 4,546 is just double that for Australia and the impact of the virus on their normal lives minimal. Meanwhile in Russia widespread mistrust of their vaccines and pussy-footing with protesters means that Covid19 is winning the battle.

Victoria's battle against Covid also reflects the damaging impact of irresponsible right wing extremists and anti-vaxers who are still spreading the virus and mainly among themselves and their own kids. I can but shake my head in disbelief.
