The outbreak in Samoa is a classic study of what happens when ignorance triumphs over science. Dangerous lunatics like Menta create their straw man arguments and pervert science to create the impression that vaccination is dangerous, when in fact the reverse is overwhelmingly true: vaccination is modern medicine's greatest achievement and if we could devise a vaccination against idiocy the antivaxxer argument would be wiped out in a generation.
